AFC Leopards will wait for a verdict from Kenyan Premier League after their Saturday’s opponents Sony Sugar failed to show up.
Leopards were set to play away to Sony at Green Stadium, Awendo but the hosts failed to honour the match. According to reports, Leopards were barred from entering the stadium as well as the match officials. Reports indicate that Sony’s financial strains in the league are the key issue for the side not wanting to host a match with claims of being hit by the financial bug.
Leopards are fourth on the log with 7 points after four matches while the Millers are 16th with just three points.
